What's Under the Hood of the 2022 Wagoneer?
Both trim levels of the 2022 Wagoneer come with a spectacular 5.7-liter V8 engine that delivers an outstanding 392 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque which connects to a smooth eight-speed automatic transmission. For an improved fuel economy, the Wagoneer comes with an eTorque system that uses a 48-volt battery. The great about this system is that it fills the gap between shifts to improve the engine's stop/start capability. Towing is what the Wagoneer is good at as it can haul up to 10,000 pounds which is the best in the class. With this engine, there is nowhere you can't go!
Features for the Wagoneer
The Wagoneer comes with two fantastic trim levels that are filled to the brim with tech and luxury features. The first trim level is the Series II which comes with a 9-speaker Alpine audio system, tri-zone climate control, Nappa leather bench seats, 22-inch alloy wheels, a front-passenger screen, and a rear-seat entertainment package with dual 10.1-inch rear screens. With this rear entertainment system comes Amazon Fire TV for auto and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Several options are available for the Series II, which are sure to brighten your driving experience. These include a tri-pane sunroof, parallel and perpendicular parking programs, the 360-degree surround-view camera, and a head-up display. If you want more advanced features, the Series III has your back with 22-inch wheels, a 19-speaker McIntosh MX950 audio system, a heavy-duty towing package, a tri-pane sunroof power side steps, and Intersection Collision Assist.
Can I Off-Road with the Wagoneer?
Of course you can! The Series III comes with an off-road package that comes standard with four-wheel-drive and an all-terrain package with a Quadra-Lift air suspension, 20-inch alloy wheels, a 2-speed transfer case, and a 3.92:1 rear-axle, an electronic limited-slip differential, and skid plates for the front suspension. Also available are a larger fuel tank and a transfer case. In addition, all models with a Quadra-Lift come with a Selec-Terrain traction management system with five selectable drive modes, including Auto, Sport, Rock, Snow, and Sand/Mud.
