Trim Levels of the 2021 Indian Scout
What powers the 2021 Indian Scout?
The 2021 Indian Scout features a 1,133 CC 4-stroke V-twin engine. This two-cylinder engine is liquid-cooled and mated to a six-speed manual transmission. It provides drivers with a cool 100 horsepower and 72 lb-ft of torque. It also features a closed-loop electronic fuel injection system with a 60 mm bore. The Scout Sixty comes with a 1,000 cc 4-stroke V-twin coming in at 78 horsepower and 65 lb-ft of torque. This engine is linked to a five-speed manual transmission and employs the same fuel injection system.
What are some of the Indian Scout features?
First and foremost, the 2021 Indian Scout is inspired by the original 1920 Indian Scout. Indian pays homage to the Scout's rich history with the headlight, fleet-side fenders, wheels, and handlebars. The seat of the Indian Scout is made of genuine leather for a comfortable ride while standing up against the elements. The wide frame coupled with the low seat makes for a smooth and assertive ride. The iconic design of the Indian Scout is launched into the future by being combined with electronic fuel injection, a USB charging port, digital gauges, and an Anti-lock Braking System.
Can you Talk About the Tires, Brakes, and Suspension?
Of course! The Indian Scout features Pirelli Night Dragon tires mounted on contrast-cut 16-inch wheels. The Bobber and Sixty come with cast black 16-inch wheels, while the Bobber Twenty comes with black wire wheels. For brakes, both front and rear feature a single 298 mm rotor. The front brake has a two-piston caliper, while the rear has a single piston. The front suspension is a telescoping fork with a 41 mm tube diameter and 4.7 inches of front suspension travel. The rear is a dual shock system with 2 inches of travel.
