What powers the 2022 Ram 1500?
There are a few engine options available for the Ram 1500, and each one provides you with a massive amount of power and capability. The standard engine is a 3.6-liter V6 which gets you a spectacular 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. This engine pairs with a solid eTorque system which improves the fuel economy and the start/stop system. Are you looking to get a little more power? Then we highly suggest the 5.7-liter V8 that pumps out a delectable 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. You can get this engine with or without the eTorque system. Does the Ram have diesel power? You bet it does! It's a diesel-powered 3.0-liter that delivers 260 horsepower and a 480 lb-ft of torque, leading the class. Towing and hauling are what the Ram 1500 does best as it can tow 12,750 pounds with a 2,300 pounds payload capacity!
What are some tech features for the Ram 1500?
On top of all the tremendous power that the Ram 1500 provides, there is also a ton of available tech. On the Big Horn trim and above, the Ram 1500 comes with the latest version of the Uconnect system that has four times faster speeds than the previous version and can hold three times as much memory.
