Mike Zimnicki, Sales Consultant

Mike Zimnicki is one of our Motorcycle Sales Consultant and has been in the automotive industry for 50 years. He is one of our Sales Consultants at Dick Scott Classic Motorcycles! Mikes favorite part of working for Dick Scott is his co-workers and the great customers, the dealership atmosphere and of course the bikes!

Mike attended Henry Ford Community College and now lives in Dearborn with his wonderful wife of 29 years and his dog, Brock. He is a father of 4, 1 daughter and 3 sons, and is a proud grandfather of 7, 3 girls and 4 boys. Mike is a US Army Veteran, and is retired from Ford Motor Company after 38 years.

In his spare time Mike enjoys spending time with his family, motorcycling, martial arts, weapons and billiards. He is also a Lector at his Parish. His favorites are: Movie ? James Bond Series; Food ? Seafood; Book ? The Bible.

Currently Mike rides his 2003 Harley-Davidson Road Glide; he also owns a 1993 Ford Mustang LX Convertible and a 1997 F150. He dreams of someday owning a Shelby Cobra.

He is looking forward to a long rewarding career with Dick Scott's Classic Motorcycles!

Scot Butash, Service & Parts Manager

Scot Butash has been in the automotive industry for 14 years; the past 2 years have been as our Service and Parts Manager at Dick Scott Motor Mall in Fowlerville. He graduated from Donndero High School in Royal Oak and now lives in Brighton with his wife Jennifer their children, Tyler and Addisyn, and their dog Harley. One of the things he enjoys most about his job is taking a customer who is in an unfortunate situation with their vehicle and helping them get their vehicle back on the road while turning it into a positive experience. He is fortunate to have a great group of co-workers that make that easy to do!

In his free time Scot enjoys watching sports and spending time with his family. According to Scot, his son's Little League baseball and football games have been a lot of fun this past year! His favorites are; Food: Steak; Movie: Office Space.

He currently drives a 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited but someday dreams of owning a 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T!

Jim Scales, New Car Sales Representative

Jim is one of our New Car Sales Representatives at Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram; he has been in the automotive industry for over 24 years. He attended Inkster High School and still lives in Inkster with his wife of 40 years.

Jim has been with Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Plymouth for over 2 year now and enjoys the people he works with, as well as helping his customers choose their next new vehicle.

He spends his free time with his children, grandchildren and his wife, who is "the most important person" in his life. His other pastimes include Jazz music and collecting watches. His favorite movie is Pulp Fiction and his favorite food is Soul Food.

Currently, Jim drives a 2003 Jaguar X Type.

Jim is this month's Spotlight Employee because of his expertise in sales, his expansive product knowledge and his professional customer service. Rose Mabery, Sales Representative

Rose Mabery has been in the automotive industry for 11 years; the past 2 ½ years have been as one of our New Car Sales Representatives at Dick Scott Nissan in Canton. She graduated from Pontiac Northern High School and now lives in Southgate with her husband, Jon, and their dog, Angel.

One of the things she enjoys most about her job is meeting new faces and being able to help her customers out in any way she can. She strives to help every customer get exactly what they are looking for in their new vehicle. She also enjoys working for the Scott Family, "they treat you like family", and that means a lot to her!

When Rose isn't working hard for her customers she is spending time with her family. She loves being a mother and grandmother to her 5 daughters, 2 sons, 3 grandsons and 1 princess. She also enjoys going to the casino, and in the summer, likes to spend the day at the beach with her children and grandchildren. Her favorite time of the week is cooking dinner on Sundays for family get-togethers! Her other favorites include; Food: Mexican; Author: James Patterson; Movie: Saturday Night Fever.

She currently drives a Nissan Altima, but someday dreams of owning a motor coach with a driver!

Pam Fant, Receptionist

Pam has been with Dick Scott Collision in Plymouth for 6 years as our Receptionist.
She grew up in Indiana and now
lives in Belleville with her husband and four sons.

When asked what she likes most about her job at Dick Scott, Pam says "Helping customers with any concerns regarding their vehicle repairs."

 In her free time Pam enjoys spending time with her family and friends. The most important people in her life are her husband, Steve, of 30 years, and their sons. While raising her sons, she enjoyed being a "Hockey Mom" and now that they are grown, she loves being a "Hockey Wife". Her favorite team is the Detroit Red Wings. Her other favorites are: Food - Her husband's famous Pepper Steak; Movie - Ever After; and Author - Danielle Steele.

 Pam's dream car would have to be the New Hemi Challenger! "It is Beautiful!"

Joe Murphy, Sales Representative

Joe is one of our Sales Representatives at Dick Scott Motor Mall and he has been with us for almost 2 years. Before moving to the auto industry, Joe spent 30 years in the broadcasting business. He has done everything from producer/director to station management and has produced national sporting events, music at Osmond Studios and worked with East Coast Lighting.

After graduating from high school, Joe attended Syracuse University and Michigan State University. Currently, he lives in Mason, MI.

Joe's favorite part of his job at Dick Scott Motor Mall is working with Jud Scott and his other great co-workers. He especially likes getting to meet so many new people. Joe drives a Chrysler Sebring.

In his spare time, Joe enjoys spending time with family, golfing, fishing and target shooting. The most important people in Joe's life are his daughter "for the joy and inspiration she gives," and his wonderful grandchildren!

His favorites: Food: Italian; Movie: The Natural; Authors - Leon Uris,Trinity and Dee Brown,Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee.

Cathy Harris, Payroll Administrator

Cathy is the Payroll Administrator at Dick Scott Automotive Group. She has been with Dick Scott for 5 years now and has worked in the auto industry for over 16 years. She attended Wayne Memorial High School and Henry Ford Community College and now lives in Westland with her husband of 23 years, Doug, and their three daughters: Jessica, Karilyne and Allison.

Cathy's favorite part of working for Dick Scott is getting to interact with all the many employees at all the different locations. She feels very privileged to get to work with so many great people.

In her spare time she enjoys reading, traveling, family game night and getting to spend time with friends. She has two cats, Norman and Jodie, and a fish named Phineas. Her favorites are? food: pizza; favorite Author: Iris Johansen; favorite genre: Mystery-Suspense.

Cathy drives a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country.

Michael Green, Service Advisor

 
Michael has been in the automotive industry for 6 years and has been a Service Advisor with Dick Scott Nissan in Canton for over a year. He attended Southfield High School and lives in Canton with his wife, Samantha.

Michael enjoys the daily interaction with his customers and helping them maintain the safety and reliability of their vehicles.

 He spends his free time with his wife, who is "the most important person" in his life. According to Michael, she keeps him in-line when needed and is always there to support him in whatever he does. Michael enjoys playing softball & baseball, jogging and attending sporting events. His other pastimes include watching movies and reading. His favorite movie is Jurassic Park and his favorite authors are Dean Koontz and Stephen King.

Currently, Michael drives a 2005 Nissan Altima, but his ultimate dream vehicle is a 2010 Shelby Mustang GT500.

Roy Hurst, Collision Shop Manager

Roy is our Collision Shop Manager at our Dick Scott Collision Center located in Dick Scott Motor Mall in
Fowlerville. He graduated from Redford High School and currently lives in Webberville.

Roy's favorite part of working for Dick Scott is the communication, teamwork and support from upper management.

Roy has been very active in local Car Shows and events in the Fowlerville area. He also organized our 1st Annual Charity Car Show held on May 21, 2011 at the Dick Scott Motor Mall Collision Shop. The show was very successful due to all of his hard work! All proceeds from the show went to benefit the Fowlerville Family Impact Center!

In his spare time he enjoys camping and fishing. His favorites are: food: seafood; movie: Dumb & Dumber;

Antwone Bedford, New Car Sales Representative

Antwone has been in the automotive industry for 14 years and has been with Dick Scott for the 6 ½ years now. He currently works as one of our New  Car  Sales Representatives at Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Plymouth. Antwone graduated from Crockett Technical High School and attended Specs Howard School of Broadcasting Arts where he obtained a certificate in broadcasting. Currently, he lives in Northville with his family.

Antwone's favorite part of working for Dick Scott is the opportunity to meet so many different people and provide superb customer service. He is truly thankful to the Scott family for the opportunity to work for them. "Jason Scott has been probably the best boss I have worked for. Thanks for everything!"

In his spare time he enjoys basketball as well as playing the piano and drums. His favorites are: food: fried shrimp; movie: Coming to America; Book/Author: Super Rich by Russell Simmons. Most important person in his life: "God (because) he allows me to get up every morning with good health & strength and come to work to be able to provide for my beautiful family."

Currently Antwone drives a Buick LaSabre but dreams of someday owning an Audi S5.

Terry berendt, Motorcycle Sales Consultant

Terry has been in the automotive industry for 22 years and has been with Dick Scott for the over 2 years now. He currently works as one of our Motorcycle Sales Consultant at Dick Scott Classic Motorcycles in Canton. Terry attended Pinckney High School and Schoolcraft Community College. He lives in Canton with his wife Amy and two children, Kayla and Kyle.

Terry?s favorite part of working for Dick Scott is the atmosphere of the dealership and being a part of the many events, Bike Shows and Bike Nights. He also enjoys dealing with the motorcycle products and the great customers he gets to meet!

In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, softball, Euchre, Texas Hold'em, darts and anything outdoors with family and friends. He also spends lots of time riding his own motorcycle.

Currently Terry drives a Ford Explorer and a Dodge Avenger. He dreams of one day driving a 1967 Mustang Shelby KR500.

Don Harley III, Pre-Owned Sales Manager
Don Harley has been in the automotive industry for over 23 years. Currently, he is the Pre-owned Vehicle Sales Manager here at Dick Scott Motor Mall. Don attended Holt High School and Northwood University. He lives in Holt with his wife Lauren of 3 years and his two children; Alexis who is 15 and Donald who is 2 years old.

According to Don, the favorite part of his job is working with his sales team to find the right car for their customers at a fair price.

In his spare time, Don loves spending time with his family. He also enjoys golf, basketball and baseball. His favorite food is Sushi and his favorite movie is Jerry Maguire.

Currently, Don owns a Tahoe, a Grand Prix and a Grand Caravan. His dream car is one that will drive itself!

Paul Hoak, Service Technician
Paul Hoak has been in the automotive industry for 5 years and has been with Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram for the past 2 ½ Years. He currently works as one of our Service Technicians. Paul attended Whitmore Lake High School and Eastern Michigan University and lives in Canton with his girlfriend Lisa, 3 fish; Spike, Ike & TJ; and a Puggle dog named Ari.

According to Paul, the best part of his job is the opportunity Dick Scott CDJR has provided, along with the chance to move forward in the organization. In his spare time, he enjoys playing music with his band and spending time with his friends and girlfriend, Lisa.

The most important person in Paul's life is his Dad. He has shown him that with hard work, anything is possible.

Currently, Paul drives a 1998 Pontiac Firebird Formula. He hopes to someday own a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner with a 426 HEMI.

Paul is this month's Spotlight Employee because of his attention to detail along with his hard working positive attitude. His skills and abilities are sure to take him far in continuing to be a successful Dick Scott Technician. Kaitlyn Dwyer, Warranty Admin and Apparel Specialist
Kaitlyn has been in the automotive industry for 5 years, all of which have been with Dick Scott Automotive Group.

Kaitlyn has always had a love for cars so working in the automotive industry is a perfect fit for her. Problem- solving and helping others is her favorite part of her job. She enjoys the people she works with and has developed many good relationships with her co-workers throughout the years considering some like family.

She spends her free time traveling, camping and cooking. She also enjoys attending concerts and sporting events, snowboarding, boating, wakeboarding and spending time with friends. All of her family and friends are very important to her for their unconditional friendships.

Currently, Kaitlyn drives a Black 2010 Nissan Rouge 360 and she hopes someday be the proud owner of a 2011 Chevy Camaro SS - Blacked Out.

Kaitlyn is this month's Spotlight Employee because of her willingness to learn new things, attention to detail and hardworking attitude. Thanks Kaitlyn for all that you do! You are an important member of the Dick Scott "Best Shot" Team!
 
She graduated from Plymouth High School then attended Schoolcraft College and is now transferring to Eastern Michigan University to finish her medical degree.
 
Trudy Gross, Dick Scott Motor Mall Receptionist/Cashier
Trudy has been in the automotive industry for 12 Years and has been with Dick Scott for 2 years. She currently works as Receptionist/Cashier at our Fowlerville Location, Dick Scott Motor Mall. The thing she likes best about her job is her wonderful Co-workers (and the fact that the dealership is close to her home in Fowlerville)!

Trudy enjoys spending her free time with her family & friends and she also likes to play softball. Her special talent is "trying to make a difference in someone's day." One of her favorite foods is pasta; her favorite movies are the Notebook, the Blind Side and Message in a Bottle; her favorite author is Daniel Steele. She has been Married for 14 years; her husband and two sons are the most important people in her life. Trudy's son Ryan is in 8th grade and is a 4.0 student working on becoming an Eagle Scout. Her youngest son, Kyle, is in the 6th grade and is also active with Boy Scouts. Trudy's objective in life is to get everyone where they need to be and keep everyone healthy!

Ron Jarosiewicz, Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Service Technician

Ron Jarosiewicz has been in the automotive industry for 23 years and has been with Dick Scott for over 14 1/2
years working as a Chrysler-Certified Technician at Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram; one of his specialties is Viper repair. 

Ron attended Cooley High School and MCI. He lives in Dearborn Heights with his family. According to Ron, he is thankful for the great people he works with everyday. In his free time he enjoys fishing, biking, attending car shows, restoring old Mopars and RC Car Racing with his son. He has two dogs, named Blackie and Schnoodle. Ron describes himself as, stubborn, strong willed but willing to admit when he is wrong, "which is never!"

Favorites: Food - lobster & steak and cucumbers & tomatoes; Movies - Meet the Fockers and Click; Books - Mopar Action, Mopar Muscle and Hot Rod.

Ron Currently drives a 2007 Ram but dreams of someday owning a 1969 528 Hemi Dart and a 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT-8!

Todd Welbon, Parts Advisor for Dick Scott Motor Mall

Todd Welbon has been in the automotive industry for 31 years. He has been with Dick Scott Motor Mall, in Fowlerville, for 3 years now. He currently works as a Parts Advisor. He attended Brighton High School and now lives in Gregory with his wife, his Better Half and the Love of his Life, Dee Dee.

Todd is happy to work with such nice co-workers and enjoys getting to see all the new vehicles arrive such as the Dodge Challenger, Charger and Chrysler 300. When he isn't working hard finding the right parts for his customers, he enjoys going to Car Shows, Cruise Nights, restoring old cars and building model cars. He has also won many 1st place trophies for his Model Cars! Old School is his favorite movie; he also enjoys eating Ground Beef and all its many different dishes.

Currently, Todd drives a 1970 Plymouth GTX and a 1979 Dodge Pick-Up in Mint Condition and dreams of one day owning a SRT Challenger.

Kasey Schraw, Assistant to the Director of Dealership Operations

Kasey has been in the automotive industry for over 11 years. She has spent the last 6 years with Dick Scott Automotive Group and for the past 3 years, she has been the Assistant to our Director of Dealership Operations, Nichole Scott.

Kasey attended Plymouth Canton High School and Eastern Michigan University where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. She just purchased her first home in Livonia with her Fiancé and is planning to get married in September of 2011.

Kasey loves the many challenges her job presents each day and especially likes the feeling of accomplishment she gets when each new project is completed.

During her free time, she enjoys working on her new house as well as going to concerts and sporting events. She also looks forward to visiting and spoiling her 18 month old nephew. Kasey feels her family members are the most important people in her life. She spends as much time as possible with them. Her favorite food is steak and she enjoys watching comedies; Role Models is her most recent favorite. Her favorite book is the Twilight Series.

Currently, Kasey drives a 2008 Dodge Avenger and she someday dreams of owning a Camaro.

Kasey is this month's Spotlight Employee because of her dedication to doing the job right every time. She willingly steps in as a member of the team whenever and wherever she can help without question or complaint. Mike Seeburger, Dick Scott Motor Mall Collision Repair Technician

Mike Seeburger has been in the automotive industry for 20 years and has been with Dick Scott Collision for the past 14 Months. Currently, he works as a Collision Shop Repair Technician at the Fowlerville location. Mike attended Wayne Memorial High School and MoTech Automotive Training School. He lives in Fowlerville with his wife, three children and their family dog, Benny.

Mike has enjoyed his time with Dick Scott and the people he works with, "Everyone is so nice, it is a pleasure to work with them everyday." In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, camping, playing the guitar and NASCAR. His other favorite past time is bowling and he has bowled a 300 game! Mike's favorite movie is The Outlaw Josey Wales and he enjoys reading books by the Author Dean Koontz.

The most important person in his life is his wife, who supports him in all he does and is always there for him.  He spent 3 years in the Navy with 4 months in the Persian Gulf during Desert Storm.

Currently Mike drives a 1998 Ford E-150 Van but someday hopes to own a 1969 GTX.

Brian Moen, Service Technician
Brian Moen (aka "Moe") has been in the automotive industry for 33 years. For the last 17 years, he has been with
Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Plymouth working as a Service Technician specializing in engine repair. He attended Thurston High School and now lives in Redford.

Brian enjoys his job and the great people he works with. When he is not busy getting customer's vehicles back out on the road, he enjoys riding his motorcycle, snowmobiling, boating, fishing, and hunting.  He is also knowledgeable in firearms and computers. Brian's favorite food is popcorn and his favorite movie is Austin Powers! He has two beautiful daughters, Ashley and Shelby, who mean the world to him. He also has a greyhound named Floyd.

Currently Brian drives a 1999 Jeep Cherokee, but dreams of someday owning a Nitro Dragster.

Brian is this month's Spotlight Employee because of all his hard work and dedication to his job and co-workers at Dick Scott for the past 17 years. Thanks, "Moe" for all that you do; you are an important member of the Dick Scott "Best Shot" Team!

 

Gary Johnson, Service Manager
Gary has been in the automotive industry for 21 years; the past 2 years have been as the Service Manager for Dick Scott Nissan in Canton. He attended JF Kennedy High School and Henry Ford Community College. Currently, he lives in New Boston with his sons Tony, Adam and Vincent, his wife Nancy, their cats Kiki and Zoie and dog Wylie.

When asked what he likes most about his job at Dick Scott, Gary said, "The commitment from the service, parts, and sales departments working together as a team. Everyone here works together very well." In his free time he enjoys softball, fishing, bowling, and an occasional poker night with the boys. His favorite movie is The Godfather and he always looks forward to Sunday night family dinners, "even when meatloaf is on the menu." The most important people in Gary's life are his family.

Gary drives a 2007 Mazda CX-7 and dreams of one day owning a 1968 Cougar XR-7 Convertible.

Gary Johnson is this month's Spotlight Employee because of all the hard work and dedication he puts into his job every day. He always goes the extra step to take care of his customers and make sure they are satisfied. He has a "team player" attitude and is willing to help whenever he is need. Bob Collier, Service Technician

Bob Collier has been in the automotive industry for over 13 years; for the past 11 years he has been employed at Dick Scott Motor Mall as a Service Technician. Bob attended Williamston High School and Northwestern Auto Diesel College. Currently, he lives in Morrice, MI

Bob is happy to be working with such wonderful people. When he is not busy getting his customer's vehicles back on the road, he enjoys fishing and reading. His favorite movie is Any Which Way but Loose. Bob is a proud uncle of two nephews, Landon Lee & Cohen Allen. He describes them as the most important people in his life.

Currently Bob drives an 1987 Dodge Ram; he dreams of someday owning a very large fishing boat.

Andrea Faught, Executive Assistant to the President

Andrea Faught has been in the automotive industry for over 7 years, all of which have been with Dick Scott Automotive Group as Executive Assistant to Mr. Scott, our founder and president. Andrea enjoys working with Mr. Scott and all the "great people" around her.

Andrea graduated from South Lyon High School and lives in Plymouth with her Daughter, Alexis, and their Newfoundland, Samantha. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies (such as the new Harry Potter DVD), and spending time with the most important person in her life, her daughter Alexis.

Currently, Andrea drives a 2008 Jeep Patriot and when asked to describe her Dream Vehicle, she said it is one "without payments."

Andrea is our Spotlight Employee this month because of her dedication and commitment to Mr. Scott and his family of dealerships, along with her organizational skills and positive "can do" attitude. Larry Welsh, New Car Sales Professional & Lease Retention Coordinator
Larry has been in the automotive industry for almost 10 years, most of which have been at
Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. He is our Lease Retention Coordinator and also one of our veteran New Car Sales Professionals. Larry attended Cherry Hill High School and now lives in Redford Township.

Larry;s favorite aspect of his job is hearing about how happy his customers are with their new car. In his free time, he enjoys watching classic movies; one of his favorites is Aliens. His favorite book is Jaws and he enjoys cooking and entertaining. He has many good friends that enjoy coming over for backyard barbeques and some of his home cooking. The most important person in Larry?s life is his daughter, Paige. He likes spending time with her and he also enjoys visiting his Mom and Dad at their home in Evart, Michigan.

Larry drives a Dodge Nitro R/T but considers his very first car, a 1973 Buick Regal, his dream car.

Larry is this month's spotlight employee for all the hard work and dedication he gives to his job and his customers who come back to see him vehicle after vehicle. He is always willing to help where he is needed and take extra time to help his fellow employees. Shannon Holcomb, Internet Sales Manager
Shannon has been in the automotive industry for 8 years, all of which have been with Dick Scott . She is the Internet Sales Manager for Dick Scott Motor Mall in Fowlerville. Shannon graduated from Pinckney High School and now lives in Brighton. She has a Doberman named Nika and enjoys spending lots of time outdoors.

Shannon enjoys meeting new people and has an opportunity to do so daily working for Dick Scott. In her free time she loves to be outdoors. As she lives near several lakes, she spends a lot of time boating. Her favorite movie is Pride & Prejudice and her favorite book is Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult.

Currently, Shannon drives a Dodge Avenger; she doesn't have a dream vehicle yet.

Denise Stark, System Administrator for Dick Scott Automotive Group

Denise has been in the automotive industry for 6 ½ years all of which have been with Dick Scott. She is currently the System Administrator for Dick Scott Automotive Group. She graduated from Stevenson High School in Livonia and now lives in Westland with her husband Mike and their cat, Precious.

Denise enjoys the diversity her job offers and the day to day challenges she encounters. She is thankful to have so many great co-workers and is happy to work for such a successful and accomplished automotive family.

In her free time, Denise enjoys reading many different authors; Julie Garwood is one of her favorites. She loves spending time with her daughter and son and their families. She has three grandchildren that keep her busy during most of her free time. When she does have some down time to catch a movie, her favorite movies are "Groundhog Day" and "True Lies". Her special talents are multi-tasking and paying special attention to detail; both of which she gets an opportunity to apply daily in many of the projects she faces as part of her job.

Denise's dream car is a black Jeep Grand Cherokee, fully loaded; she currently drives a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan.

Denise Stark was chosen as this month's Dick Scott Spotlight Employee because of her consistent hard work, dedication and loyalty. She performs her job everyday at 100% and has contributed to the success of Dick Scott Automotive Group in countless ways. Thanks for all that you do and for doing it so well Denise!!! Lori Krystoff, Assistant Manager at Dick Scott Collision - Plymouth
Lori has been in the automotive industry for over 30 years and has been Assistant Manager at Dick Scott Collision in Plymouth since November, 2004. She graduated from Hazel Park High and lives in Novi with her husband Jim.

Lori feels honored to have been chosen as our May Spotlight Employee. She is a real "people person" and enjoys her co-workers and all that they "bring to the table every day." Lori enjoys helping people, especially during the stressful and difficult times which accompany many customers dealing with body shop repairs resulting from an accident. She previously worked with her three older brothers in the automotive repair business for 20 years and is happy to report that they all past the greatest test of all; working with family!

In her free time, Lori enjoys reading, shopping, walking and an occasional glass of wine. "The Game" and "Rush Hour" are her two favorite movies; her favorite book is "The Last Lecture." The most important person in her life is her husband, Jim, who loves her for who she is and keeps her grounded (Jim is employed with Ford Motor Company). She is very proud of her two children; Jennifer and Scott. Her daughter, Jennifer, is a Graduate of MSU and is teaching in Holland, MI, where she lives with her husband Jake and Lori's Grand-dog Lilly (Lilly loves to visit Lori and terrorize her house but she loves her anyway). Lori's son, Scott, will graduate from MSU on May 9th, 2009, with a Bachelors Degree in marketing.

Lori said her "dream car" is anything with a Chauffeur (it is a "dream" after all.) She currently drives a Ford Escape.

Lori is our Spotlight Employee this month for many reasons, including her optimistic attitude and natural ability to reassure customers that their vehicles are in good hands and will be back to normal soon. She wears many different hats each day and performs each part of her job efficiently and professionally. Kevin Short, Master Service Technician
Kevin has been in the automotive industry for 25 years, and has been with Dick Scott for the last 17 of those years. Currently, he is a Master Service Technician at Dick Scott Motor Mall in Fowlerville. Kevin attended Lansing Community College and lives in the City of Fowlerville.

He is very happy at Dick Scott and enjoys all of his co-workers. According to Kevin, one of the best things about being employed at Dick Scott is  "you are treated like a name, not a number." When he is not busy fixing cars he spends his time hunting, fishing, woodworking and going for walks with his wife, Deb; the most important person in his life and his best friend. Currently Kevin drives a Jeep Cherokee and a Town & Country but hopes to someday own a Dodge Challenger.

Harley Wood, Service Advisor

Harley has been in the Automotive Industry for 27 years; he has been with Dick Scott Automotive Group for the past 8 years. Currently, he is Service Advisor at
Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Plymouth. Harley graduated from Monroe High School and lives in Monroe with his wife Kathryn. The relationships he has built over the years with his long-time customers are what he enjoys the most about his job. Multi-tasking is a must in his profession and something for which he has a special talent.

In his free time, Harley enjoys traveling, taking his Road Runner to car shows and relaxing at home with his wife. He also has an interest in James Bond films and his favorite book is "Catcher in the Rye". Currently, he drives a Jeep Wrangler and he would someday love to own a 1970 Plymouth Super Bird.

Jeff Heldt, Master Service Technician
Jeff Heldt has been in the Automotive Industry for 22 years; he has been with Dick Scott for 8 of those years. Currently, Jeff works as a Master Service Technician at Dick Scott Nissan in Canton; his special talent is making Titanium Rings. Jeff attended Wyotech and lives in Howell. One of the things he enjoys most about his job at Dick Scott is his co-workers. 

In his free time, Jeff enjoys fly fishing and spending time with the most important person in his life; his wife. He has two pets; a cat named Lucy and a dog named Rosco. He currently drives a 2005 Dodge Ram and would love to own a 1968 Corvette someday.

Amy Sikora, Deal Coster & Title Clerk
Amy has been in the automotive industry for 17 years and has been with Dick Scott for the past 15. Currently, she works as a Deal Coster & Title Clerk at
Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Plymouth. Amy graduated from Garden City High School and now lives there with her husband Stanley and two children, Nathan and Natalie. The family has two cats, Jackpot & Molly.

Amy enjoys all the different aspects of her job and loves working for the Dick Scott Automotive Group Family. In her free time, she loves to cook and she enjoys spending time with her family. Amy also likes going up north, bike riding and outdoor winter sports. Her favorite movie is The Notebook and her favorite book is the Stephen King Novel "Bones." Currently, Amy drives a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan; someday she hopes to own a 1968 Chevelle SS.

Doug Harris, Service Parts Manager
Doug Harris has been in the automotive industry for almost 30 years; he has been with Dick Scott for 7 of those years.  Currently he works as the Parts Manager at Dick Scott Nissan in Canton. Doug graduated from Plymouth Salem and lives in nearby Westland with his wife Cathy and their 3 daughters; Jessica, Karilyne and Allison. The Harris family has two cats, Norman and Jody.

According to Doug, his favorite part of his job is getting to know his customers. He enjoys many things outside of work, like spending time with his family and the Fried Grouper Sandwich at Charlie Horse Restaurant in Daytona Beach when he is on vacation. His favorite movie is Monty Python and the Holy Grail and his favorite book is "Chili Dogs only bark at Night" by Lewis Grizzard. Doug currently drives "any car that is at home and has gas in it" and his dream vehicle is "one that is paid for!"

Doug is our Spotlight Employee this month because of his hard work and dedication over the years. His wonderful sense of humor combined with his knowledge and experience in taking care of customer's vehicles is very much appreciated. Judy Butler, Office Manager

Judy Butler has been in the automotive industry for 20 years, and has been with Dick Scott for 10 of those years.  She is currently the Office Manager at Dick Scott Motor Mall, in Fowlerville. She attended Cleary College, for Business Management and Accounting, and lives in Pinckney on Rush Lake, with her two Shih Tzu dogs, Smokey and Bandit. She bought them from a customer at Dick Scott Motor Mall, whose truck broke down on the way to sell them to a pet store.

In her free time she enjoys cooking, and even owned her own restaurant in Hartland. Her favorite foods are Pasta, bread and Chocolate. She loves the water and likes to be the first one on the lake when the ice melts and the last one off before the freeze. She has done missionary dentistry in Guatemala and Honduras and has a motorcycle license; she is still waiting for her Harley. Judy currently drives a Dodge Caliber but hopes to someday own a Chrysler Crossfire.

Steve Barkovich, Master Certified Technician
Steve Barkovich has been in the Automotive Industry for 21 years, all of which have been with Dick Scott. He is currently a Service Technician at
Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, in Plymouth. He Graduated from Lincoln Park High and also attended Henry Ford College. He now lives in Grass Lake with his Wife Ann, and his two Shih Tzu dogs, named Mimsey and Maury.

In his spare time, Steve enjoys Model Trains, and reading books by his favorite author, Roger Carp. His favorite movie is :Yankee Doodle Dandy." He currently drives a 2002 Dodge Caravan. He hopes to someday own  a 1948, Lima Built, Allegheny Locomotive. Steve also holds a patent for a Nickel Base Alloy.

For the past 21 years Steve has taken numerous courses through Chrysler to enhance his skills. He has become a Master Certified Technician through the State of Michigan. If you have a question or concern about your vehicle's performance, Steve is the one to ask.

Mary Cay Bottrell, Office Manager
Mary Cay has been in the Automotive Industry for 18 years, the past 9 of them have been with Dick Scott Automotive Group. Currently, she is the Office Manager at Dick Scott Nissan in Canton.

Mary Cay graduated from Flat Rock High School and lives in Dearborn Heights with her husband, son and their animals; a beagle named Mater and two cats, Sassy and Chuck.

In her spare time, Mary Cay enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband and son. She currently drives a Dodge Nitro but her dream vehicle is a 1950 Chevy Pick Up.

Nelson Cypher, Sales Lease Manager

Nelson Cypher has been with Dick Scott Motor Mall for over 17 years. He lives in Fowlerville and graduated from Fowlerville High. After high school, he attended Lansing Community College, where he studied industrial design. He later turned to the automotive industry, where he's spent the
last 23 years. Nelson enjoys the friendly, small town atmosphere of Fowlerville and feels privileged to have had the opportunity to serve so many people in the Community.

In his spare time, Nelson enjoys cooking and baking; he also likes to
watch comedies and dramas. He enjoys cars and would love to own a 1930's Auburn Speedster. Currently, he drives a Dodge Caravan.

Kent Linden, Parts Manage

Kent Linden has been working in the  automotive industry for over 37 years; and he has been at Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram for over 24 years. Kent enjoys working with people and over the years as Parts Manager, he has come to know his customers well. He looks forward to seeing them and now their children and even in some cases their grandchildren.

Kent lives in Westland now but he grew up in Redford and graduated from Redford Union High. He enjoys Fishing and watching Red Wing Hockey.  He would love to own a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T, but until then he enjoys driving his 2008 Dodge Charger R/T.
