The City of Plymouth has been notified by CSX Railroad that they need to make repairs to one of the rails at the Ann Arbor Trail crossing. It is currently anticipated that ANN ARBOR TRAIL BETWEEN FAIRGROUND AND MILL STREET WILL BE CLOSED ON FRIDAY, April 18, 2011 due to railroad track repairs. CSX Railroad anticipates the repair process to take six to eight hours. Some preliminary work may take place on Thursday. Apparently, there is a crack on rail that needs immediate attention and CSX is assembling crews to make the repairs on Friday. CSX Railroad will be responsible for closing Ann Arbor Trail between Mill Street and Fairground and they will be responsible for all barricading of the construction site.
